Welcome to the LRC website help page. This page will give you a brief overview and instruction on how to use the various search facilities on this website.

Search Website

This function located at the top of our website searches the title (and some content) of every article in our entire website. It looks for words or phrases that match your search terms in the headings, the body and the metatags of an article or PDF document.

On the top right of the website isthe 'search website' bar. Simply enter in your search string. It will automatically start searching and return results. Selecting the result takes you to that page.

Search Section

This is a search functionality located in the right-hand box in the following sections of the website:

This function searches the title (and some content) of every article in the particular section you are in only.

Simply tick off the categories you wish to include in your search. You can tick off as many categories as you would like to include; if they are not compatible, they will not cancel out one another. If you wish to limit your search, tick off your category (i.e., 'Land') and type in a term in the 'Search" box (i.e., 'Xolobeni'). In the 'Judgments & Texts' section, you can also search for judgments by type of court.

Browsing by Issue

This is asearch function that gives you all the itemsfound in the entire website or from specific sections related to a particular Focus Issue.

Simply go to an 'Issue' page (i.e., 'Environment'). You will see an "Issue In..." box on the right-hand side ofeach 'Issue'page. The list shows youall theitems related to that Focus Issue that can be found in our website.
