Any gift is special regardless of size. Through our history the LRC has enjoyed the support of loyal individual benefactors and friends like you. It is through their loyalty that we have been able to sustain ourselves since 1979. It is thanks to their contribution that the LRC is what it is today.

 The LRC has always been a champion for the less fortunate amongst us – and in these interesting and challenging times it continues to strive for the development of our democracy and advancing access to justice for the poor and vulnerable in South Africa.

 Estate Planning

Consider naming the Legal Resources Centre as a beneficiary in your will. A planned gift made to the LRC provides the LRC with a long-term financial resource. It may also provide you with tax benefits by reducing your estate and income taxes.

 A charitable bequest for the LRC may be included in your Will when it is written or you can add your wish as a codicil/ addendum to your will. A bequest to the LRC is a wonderful way to leave a lasting legacy in your honour. You are advised to consult an attorney to adapt the language to suit your specific circumstance.

How do I make a bequest?

 Become a Volunteer

Since 1979, LRC has had the pleasure of working with interns visiting from all over the world. These volunteers have given their time to make a powerful and invaluable difference to the LRC and our clients.

 If you are interested in volunteering for us, there are two options: a legal internship (for students in their second year or higher of legal studies) and a National Office internship (for those wishing to support the LRC through work such as communications, fundraising, marketing and accounting)
